R.E. Borrmann’s Steel Co. is a full-service metal distributor with 70+ years of experience serving the Bay Area’s fabrication, construction, manufacturing, and public works sectors. Founded in East Palo Alto, Borrmann’s Steel has built its reputation on inventory depth, responsive service, and long-term customer relationships. With over two million pounds of steel in stock at its 3-acre headquarters—and an expanded South County presence in Morgan Hill—we are positioned to provide same-day and next-day delivery, as well as convenient will-call service.

Our inventory includes hot rolled, cold finished, and structural steel products, along with plate, tubing, pipe, and bar. We support automotive fabrication shops, contractors, machine shops, ranch and agricultural operations, and industrial manufacturers with both material supply and value-added processing. Services include precision cutting, shearing, and other custom solutions designed to reduce customer labor and lead times.
